Belle sees Elsa like a sister. At first, she didn't know she was royalty. When she did find out, not by choice, she didn't really care. Elsa was her friend. Royalty didn't mean anything to Belle. Elsa was still her book buddy.
Belle is fairly good friends with Rapunzel. Belle enjoys Raunzel's company and loves to read with her.
Belle considers Anna to be like a sister to her. She is close to her and can count on her. She enjoys Anna's perkiness and easygoing behavior.

A Different Tale as Old as Time

Once upon a time, there was a young woman who went by the name of Belle. She was well known in France for her ... abilities. She had hunted several great beasts and discovered many great and unknown treasures. Whether the way she obtained the object was legal or not did not matter. Her fame stretched across the seas over time. Now, hearing word of a mysterious castle in the woods, Belle went to the local tavern. Her hood hid her eyes from the civilians. She sat at the bar. Waiting. Waiting for an adventuring party to find her. She knew this castle would be one job she couldn't handle alone.
She heard the door open.

"Bonjour," she said with a cheerful smile. "I am Belle."

Belle notices the woman and becomes entranced in her dancing.
She moves so gracefully Belle can't help but stare. She had never
seen this woman before, so she smiled and called out, "Bonjour!"
